Hands-On Workshops

An ultrasound-based workshop will be held and divided into three stations. The first session will be a twenty-minute lecture by each speaker. The second session will be a thirty-minute hands-on workshop at each station. Each station will have a max of ten participants, with a total of thirty participants.

• AV Fistula Assessment: Led by Dr. Venkatram M from East Coast Hospitals, Pondicherry. This session will cover detailed assessment techniques for arteriovenous fistulas, essential for vascular access evaluations.
• Transplant Kidney Evaluation (Doppler and Contrast): Dr. Balasubramaniam J from Kauvery Hospital, Tirunelveli, will guide participants through Doppler and contrast ultrasound techniques specifically for transplant kidney evaluations.
• POCUS Volume Assessment: A session sponsored by ISN or led by a Radiologist, focusing on Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) techniques for volume assessment, helping improve diagnostic accuracy in clinical settings.
